"The idea of this conversation arose in March 2022, when we — a circle of Ukrainian-German translators — finally managed to break through the shock and tried to share where we are, primarily mentally. Some of us fled the war, others stayed at home, and still others lived in Germany. Sharing private observations has become our protected space, built on friendliness and acceptance, almost a mutual aid group, where it is easier to approach the reflection of one's condition....
